Four Jaw Independent Chuck

Bharat Enterprises, Punjab, offers 4-jaw independent chucks (dog chucks). The body is made out of alloyed cast iron for strength and wear resistance. Guide ways in body are of heavy pattern, which ensure resistance to distortion under adverse working conditions. The jaws are manufactured out of case hardening steel and are properly heat treated in automatically controlled electric furnaces. The screws have ACME threads for strength, which ensure resistance against breakage under the heaviest gripping forces. The same are heat treated for durability. Chucks of size 200 mm (diameter) onwards have double thrust bearings of robust proportions.
