Copprrod Industries Pvt Ltd offers a range of oxygen free high conductivity (OFHC) copper products. Copper Busbars, Rods, Strips and various Profiles are produced by continuous extrusion process also known as conform extrusion. In this process the OFHC continuous cast copper rod is fed into the groove of a rotating wheel and drawn by friction against the wheel. The drawn material is dammed by an abutment inserted in groove, and the extrusion pressure is generated as the shoe covers the groove. The material, which is in a high plastic flow state, flows into the die chamber and can be extruded in any form. This is further drawn or rolled to the required sizes and cut to length.

  • Busbars and strips – thickness 1.00-40 mm, width 5.00-170 mm
  • Rods – round, square, hexagon in size 6-40 mm
  • Profiles – as per customer requirement
  • Purity – min 99.99%
  • Oxygen content – below 10 ppm
  • Conductivity – above 101% IACS
