Unipass Drill 'N' Tap is a unique combination tool manufactured by New York Twist Drill, Inc, USA. This tool is designed to drill and tap through holes up to two times the nominal diameter. The tool fits standard too holders. A 251 helix provides the proper cutting tool action for both drill and tap sections. The 118? helical point is self centering and reduces thrust. The tool completes two operations in a single pass and reduces production cost by 50% or more. It lends itsel use on CNC machines. Thi tool can be used in most materials where HSS tools are normally used, ie, steel, cast iron, aluminium, brass, bronze, and zinc.
