Shashaco Chucks offers Chucks with hard forward jaws & reverse jaws that are proportioned to provide maximum length of contact in guides with minimum weight. They are heat treated to obtain optimum conditions of strength and hardness on jaw teeth and gripping face accurately ground. The chuck body is made of grade 25 with hardness 180-210BHN; and high strength cast iron robust jaw guides and ample bearing areas for working parts. Scroll plate is made from exceptionally tough alloy steel, individually inspected for accuracy. Pinion is made of alloy steel, heat- treated to obtain high strength and hardness compatible with freedom from breakage.
