The rigid solid carbide end mills with rugged geometry are usable at high cutting speeds several times greater than high speed steel. These end mills are most suitable for deep slotting work. These tools allow maximum chip clearance at higher speeds compared to high speed steel end mills. The tool is also usable for deep plunging work.
