Boring & Facing Spindles

Patson Technical Services offer Boring & Facing Spindles. It comprises of a fixed tool holding system, which can be used for boring application and a facing slide in the rotating tool head. This facing slide is hydraulically operated through a rotating hydraulic cylinder of special design. The facing slide can be used for applications such as facing operation with single point tool, internal or external groove cutting, rear face machining, etc. Typical applications are machining of circlip or O-ring grooves, internal faces to be machined along with boring operation, etc. Boring and facing operations can be done in one setting. The facing slide is hydraulically operated with 30 mm stroke. The feed can be controlled precisely by flow control valve. Stoppers are provided to set the position of facing slide. The other products offered are special purpose machine, multi spindle drilling and tapping machines and standard spindle and slide units.
