Big bore chucks (BCB)

Airtech manufactures a range of chucks - from manual chucks to power chucks and total solutions. It extends to over a 1000 standard and custom designed workholding tools. Big bore chucks (BCB) are ideal for large diameter jobs. These enable the machining portion to be kept on front of the chuck, while the remaining portion can go inside the spindle, toggle lever principle employed to convert axial operating force to radial jaw clamping. Sizes offered range from 400 mm - 1000 mm diameter with bores above 200 mm.
