Balanced Rotary Toolholders For Use Up To 30,000 Rpm

Designed specifically to assure high-precision machining at high speeds up to 30,000 RPM and high feed rates, the bright-shank True Velocity and Maximum Velocity balanced rotary toolholders will be featured. For machining centre applications, the balanced toolholders are said to eliminate vibration, permitting faster metal removal rates, dramatically increased tool life due to balanced chip loads, full utilization of carbide and cermet insert technology, and improved machined surface finishes. Shank tolerance of AT3 or better, concentricity within 0.0002" and repeatability of 0.0002" make the balanced toolholders essential to high-quality, high-speed machining. The True Velocity line, balanced for speeds up to 20,000 RPM, and companion fully balanced. Maximum Velocity (to 30,000 RPM) toolholders, are available from stock in all popular V-flange sizes and BT shanks for application in any machining center. Each toolholder is CNC machined and ground and balanced on a dedicated toolholder balancing machine which corrects imbalances inherent in V-flange tooling.
