Anti Vibration Mounts

BASE Vibration Isolators offers engineered solutions for vibration isolation through an optimum use of flexibility and damping. The desired flexibility is achieved using helical steel springs and the damping from highly viscous damping medium. BASE Isolators (Anti Vibration Mounts or AVMs) range is made keeping in mind the height requirements for different applications. Spring isolators cater to a wide range of applications, are non-ageing, and offer consistent performance through out their life. BASE mounts work both ways – isolating equipments that would spread vibrations to surrounding (Source Isolation) or isolating a precision equipment to be installed in a high vibration zone (Receiver Isolation). Benefits: solutions possible for almost all vibration transmission related problems; controlled amplitudes when passing through resonance and comes to rest almost immediately when stopped; one time investment; in many cases the foundation can be avoided; no humming noise; and easy machine relocations possible leading to a “Flexible Plant Layout”.
