Turret Lathe, Six Station

Abhijat Equipments Pvt Ltd manufactures six station Turret Lathes, available in different models – STL 25, 32, 42. The machines cater to both bar work and manual or pneumatic chuck work. Pre-turned forged or cast blanks can be used. The basic machine with 6-position turret, rigid cross slide and vertical slide enables variety of turning, drilling, threading operation to be done in single set up. The machine base is a rigid fabricated construction. The spindle is mounted in precision ball bearings. The bearings are mounted directly in the headstock, for higher accuracy and rigidity. The drive pulley is mounted outside the headstock for ease of speed change or belt change. The company offers a direct drive version, which is ideal for machining of non-ferrous threaded components. This drive provides higher spindle speed range and much higher switching cycles are possible, compared to the counter shaft drive.
