These lathes come with the following features: induction hardened and precision ground robust and heavily ribbed alloy cast bed; least wearing Turcite coated main slide; extra long T-slotted cross slide with backlash eliminator; force lubricated slides; hardened ground, balanced cam lock spindle; hardened ground shafts in all sub-assemblies like apron box, gearbox, having gunmetal bushes or bearings to run in; totally enclosed dust proof apron and universal Norton gearbox for wide range of cutting feed and threading in inches, metric, diametric and modular pitches; cross, main and compound slides have adjustable graduated dial rings; control panel with brake, inching and emergency stop fuses to avoid accident losses; heavy weight supportive tail stock with hard ground MT and OD plunger having graduated dial ring and scale for measured drilling; hard and profile ground shafts and spline shafts on precision bearings, oil dip splash lubricated gears giving noiseless high RPM options; operator friendly reverse/forward and brake controls on main carriage; tool post fitted with ratchet for precise positioning at any angle; and available in 1000 and 1500 mm ABC having 225 mm centre height and 900, 1400 and 2000 mm ABC having 285 mm centre height with 40 to 1200 spindle RPM range.
