Polygon Turning Machine, 5-Axis

Brisk Tech Engineers has developed a 5-axis Polygon Turning Machine, Model BPTM-5A. This is suitable for ratchet cutting on face and OD, spline cutting on OD, gear teeth chamfering, hex milling, flat milling, triangle milling and square milling operations. This process can be done at the end of the component (or) middle of the component with no limitations on the number of sides of polygons. These kinds of machines are used for auto industries, power tools, etc. In this model servomotors are used for the longitudinal and cross slide, work head and tool head. Work head and cutter head would be operated by an electronic gearbox, which is operated by a PLC (or) CNC controller as per customers’ requirements.
