Jamnagar Machine Tools was established in the year 1976 with the aim to manufacture products with high precision and high quality. At present more than 6000 machines are running successfully all over the India as well as abroad. The company is now ISO 9001: 2000 certified and located in a highly grown industrial zone of Rajkot city, which is well known for machine tools and machinery industry. The company manufactures light, medium and heavy duty lathe machines, slotting machines, surface grinders, milling machines, radial and pillar drilling machines and garage machinery like block boring machines and honing machines with all genuine components. It offers a medium-duty lathe machine, Model MD-2, with the following specifications: length of bed – 1375 to 1825 mm; height of centre – 215 mm; admit between centre – 740 mm; swing over bed – 410 mm; swing over cross slide – 280 mm; swing in gap – 610 mm; spindle bore – 52 mm and 80 mm; spindle speed – 35 to 500 RPM; and motor – 2 HP, 1440 RPM.
