Hasu Industries offers heavy-duty Lathe, designed and manufactured under the guidance and supervision of technically qualified and experienced hands. Constructional features: the lathe bed is designed to the specifications, which provides strength to resist torsional strains; made from closed grain alloy cast iron to resist wear and maintain accuracy over a long period; two inverted "V" and flat ways of the bed are accurately machined and ground maintaining the parallelism throughout; strongly constituted head stock is of fractional and stream lined design; the spindle is made out of high tensile steel and precisely ground, runs on high precision anti-friction taper roller bearings; drive belts from counter affixed to rear side of headstock, provides smooth and quiet operation for life time; the carriage has large bearing surface minimising the force per unit bearing area and hence wear on the bed ways; guided for high accuracy and positive-alignment by the inverted 'V' and flat ways; wedges are provided to facilitate the adjustment to be made for compensation of wear; the apron box is sturdy and double walled construction, provided with safety inter-lock, which prevents simultaneous engagements of feed and threading mechanism; both the sliding and surfacing feeds can be engaged by tightening the star knob and accordingly setting the position of the feed lever; the tail stock has long bearing on bed and base is adjustable for taper turning; and a standard Morse taper spindle hole allows the use of drills and reamers with MT shanks.
