This high precision Super model lathe machine comes with feed gearbox, lead screw and feed shaft separate for threading accuracy. It is robustly designed and is suitable for mass batch production. These machines combine all the features that are expected in production lathes with great efficiency and are ideal for all sliding, surfacing and screw cutting operations. Special features available in these lathes are: hardened and ground bed ways; 350 mm maximum swing over bed; 525 mm swing in gap; 190 mm swing over slide, 700 mm and 1000 mm admit between centre (ABC). These lathes can be supplied with taper attachments, rear tool post, Norton gearbox capable of cutting Whit?worth metric module and diametric pitch threads.
