Dual Spindle CNC Turning Centre

HMT offers DTC 20, a dual spindle CNC turning centre. With the increasing importance for higher productivity and lower cost per piece and increasing competitiveness in the market place, new machining concepts are emerging. Turning centres with the possibility for both first and second side machining including secondary operations like off centre drilling, milling, etc. performed on a single machine is becoming the state of the art in turning technology. To meet these exacting demands, HMT has built this dual spindle 4 axis CNC chucker, with two 12 station turrets and with coaxial, opposed, moving headstock configuration and upgradable to include C axis with rotary tools on both turrets. The advantages of dual spindle machines are: single operator, lesser floor space, lower investment, and easier materials handling.
