- Twinturn machine (available with linear tooling, turrets and live turrets in various combinations) is the most productive double spindle machine and a much better option than two independent single spindle machines
- Where cutting time is more than 40-45 seconds in each set-up the saving of loading/unloading time (10-15 seconds) is not a very significant percentage
- In this case the new Twinturn with two spindle, two independent slides and two CNC controls is like two single spindle machines but occupying much less floor space and requiring only one operator.
