Proteck Machinery offers CNC Turning Lathe, PL 600TT series. This is a twin turret lathe that deliver high productivity in applications such as crankshafts, camshafts and long work pieces. Construction features: bed - high slant angle bed for easy chip flow; hardened and ground integral guideways for ultra high rigidity; two carriages carrying two turrets; independently mounted on two ball screws. Automation options: ball screw driven programmable positioning steady rest; programmable tailstock positioning; auto door operation with safety interlocks; gantry interface for line automation; revolving tools on turret; and C-axis spindle positioning. Head stock and tail stock is also available. Features: twin turret 4-axis slant bed design; slant angle selected for optimum chip disposal; capable of high material removal rates; hardened and ground integral guideways; very high rigidity delivers best-in-class tool life performance; direct drives on all axis for high stiffness and quick response; and generously sized turrets and mounts contribute to rigidity.
