Salient features: slant-bed CNC turning centre specially designed for high accuracy, medium and large sized components; suitable for forged to finish operations in mass production of components like medium and large sized gear blanks, valve bodies, flanges and shafts up to 400 mm length; A2-6 spindle with 5.5 kW/7.5 kW spindle power; heavy-duty eight station tool turret; rapid traverse rate of 15 mtr/min for both axes; and heavy-duty precision grade linear motion guide-ways for both axes. Specifications: capacity - swing over bed - 400 mm; swing over saddle - 400 mm; admit between centres - 400 mm; maximum turning diameter - 300 mm; spindle - spindle type - cartridge type; spindle nose - A2-6; spindle taper - MT-6; hole through spindle - 52 mm; spindle bearings - four angular contact bearings, RHP make, set of two on front (7218) and set of two on rear (7216); spindle lubrication - grease packed for life; spindle speed - 30-3000 RPM (higher spindle RPM is optional); CNC system - Fanuc 0i-TB make with beeta 8i, beeta 8i and beeta 6i spindle (Siemens 802D or any other CNC system is optional); and spindle motor and drive - Fanuc 5.5/7.5 kW spindle drive and motor.
