Cnc Tube And Pipe Cutoff Lathes Perform Multiple Machining Jobs

A full line of CNC cutoff lathes, capable of automatically performing a wide variety of transfer and machining operations on tube, pipe and bar stock, has been developed by the company. This fast indexing family of CNC lathes can handle cylindrical stock from 1/4" to 8" OD in virtually any length. The machines automatically load, cut off, thread, chamfer, deburr, bore and unload in one quick cycle. Programmable controls greatly simplify set-up and increase productivity for cutoff as well as turning, boring and threading operations. Two separate slides are fed by independent servo drives and ballscrews. The single-axis cutoff slide moves perpendicular to the spindle, while the second slide has two-axis movement for turning, boring and threading. An optional servo positioned stop utilizes the CNC controller for part length programming and GE Fanuc controls, servos and drives are standard equipment. All these machines are equipped with a 30-HP constant surface footage spindle drive. The machines" fully automatic hopper type feeder holds large bundles of tube, pipe or bar stock and, as an option, the company offers a disc style tool turret for multiple operation tooling.
