Cnc Tralner Lathe

CNC trainer lathe T-100 is a compact, table mounted trainer equipped with industrial grade, simultaneous two axis continuous path CNC controller CNC-2LX. It is most suitable for hi-tech education in colleges, polytechnics and in-house corporate training centres. It is built on a sturdy, ground bed with a large width. The saddle and cross slide are also strong. The drive to both axes is given by powerful stepper motors and ballscrews which make cutting of steel possible. A six station automatic tool indexing turret is provided for 3 OD turning and 3 ID turning tools. A face coupling is provided in turret for accurate indexing. Drive to the spindle is by variable speed DC motor in six transmissions. The spindle is hardened and precision ground and is housed in a rugged headstock with high precision angular contact bearings. Tailstock is provided so that centre to centre turning is possible. Height of centres is 70 mm; distance between centres: 310 mm; swing over bed: 100 mm; swing over cross slide: 60 mm; and, the travel of cross slide: 55 mm. Being tropicalised and tested as per IS:9000 environmental tests, it offers high reliability. The lathe is supplied with microprocessor based simultaneous 2 axis CNC controller which uses standard G,M,F,T,S codes as per ISO for programming. All essential features necessary for CNC training are in-built, such as constant surface cutting speed, do loop, sub-routine and many canned cycles for contours and threading. It is also FMS compatible. The lathe is operated using MDI keyboard. It can be integrated with PC using RS-232C communication for off-line programming. Powerful, user friendly PC software is supplied for graphic simulation, 2D tool path and 3D display graphics. Off-line programming is also possible. CAD/CAM support is available through optional TCAM package. TCAM generates part programs from part drawings, imparting training in CAD/CAM and the intricacies of tool-nose radius compensation.
