CNC Lathes, 4 Spindle

Marshall Industries offers the Rapidturn Quattro Series 4 spindle CNC lathes. These are the most productive and cost effective CNC lathes available in the country for chucking jobs like bearing rings, gear blanks, etc. These have been developed after years of R&D as well as benchmarking with the best CNC turning machines in the world. The machine has two spindles each on either side of the bed. Two similar jobs are clamped simultaneously on the left hand (LH) spindles with the help of power chucks and machining cycle is started. While machining of jobs on the LH spindles is going on, two other jobs are loaded on the right hand (RH) spindles. These jobs may be similar or different from the jobs machined on the LH spindles. When the machining on LH side is over, the saddle carrying the tools moves rapidly to the RH end and begins machining. Now the jobs clamped on LH spindles are unclamped and fresh jobs are clamped. Therefore two jobs are machined simultaneously and the machining time is utilized to unload completed jobs and load fresh jobs and load fresh jobs at the other end. This ensures very, very, high productivity. The machine uses highly productive and low cost linear indexing system for tool holders.
