NEX 108 CNC lathe is a new product from Taiwan Takisawa Technology Co, a pioneer lathe manufacturer from Taiwan. This is compact in size and known for high performance and reliability. Some of the outstanding features are: 30° slant bed design, single piece casting gives more rigidity and more strength during heavy-duty cutting and easy chip disposal; servo control high speed turret reduces idle time of the machine and increases the productivity; latest Fanuc CNC controller that can obtain good surface finish and geometrical accuracy of the job; maximum turning diameter – 320 mm; maximum turning length – 530 mm; rapid traverse – X and Z axis is 24 and 20 m/min; number of stations in turret –12; spindle speed – 4000 RPM; high pressure coolant pump (400 W) ensuring good surface finish of the job; and advanced safety features reduce time dramatically due to operators’ errors, and increases the tool life.
