CNC Attachments For Medium/Big Centre Lathes

Macintel has designed and developed a bolt-on CNC attachment, Model Profiturn I & II, to convert conventional all geared lathes to slant bed CNC versions. Profiturn is a slant bed CNC attachment for upgradation of lathes. It is a step ahead of conventional CNC retrofit solution giving all the flexibilities without any compromise in the quality. It is not necessary to dismantle the parent lathe and recondition it as in case of normal retrofit, for giving the capability of a full CNC lathe. This unique attachment is an extremely cost effective solution with quality inputs like Fagor CNC system, Baldor AC servo motors and digital drives, centrally located precision hardened and ground ballscrews, linear motion guideways, etc. This conversion from a conventional lathe can be done in less than a week. Considering the different levels of automation in the industry, it is very important to choose the right level of automation for a given application.
