J K Machine Tools offers heavy-duty precision Centre Lathes. Features: accuracy within 10 micron in ovality; rigid and box section type seasoned bed provides maximum torsional stiffness; apron with oil bath; optional thread and feed gearbox for easy selection of wide range of threads and feeds through levers; wide variety of optional accessories for higher productivity; built in accuracy - flame hardened and ground bed for sustained accuracy; all major castings are naturally seasoned for retaining accuracy for very long time; critical components are machined on imported and precision mother machines; wear parts are made from alloy steel; main spindle is rigid and accurate made out of alloy steel hardened and ground, mounted on gun metal bush or precision taper roller bearing; alloy steel main spindle, worm, cross slide screw and tail stock screw threads produced on thread whirling machine; tail stock spindle are hardened and its external and internal degree also ground; and each machine undergoes the tests recommended by Indian standards before leaving the factory. Interchangeability: all components are machined using jigs and fixtures on imported and precision mother machines to close tolerance thus providing easy interchangeability. Standard accessories: set of change gears inch, centre adaptor, dead centres-2 nos., chuck plate 200 mm and 270 mm, reversible switch, motor V-belt (B-72) 2 nos., nylon flat belt, tool post key, motor pulley, carriage tray, oil can, plastic can, screw driver, spanners-3 nos., and spare parts book.
