Jesco Machinery of Taiwan offers the Jessey (Dashin) CE and varispeed models of lathes. They feature induction hardened and ground bedways; hardened and ground spindles and gears in headstock; cam-lock spindle nose allows for fast and safe mounting; an interlock device prevents simultaneous engagement of feed rod and lead screw; no voltage release, low voltage control, and foot brake ensures safe operation; entirely enclosed oil bath, double wall apron with splash-type lubrication; and forward/off/reverse spindle control provided by grated lever at apron. The lathe comes in four models with swing over bed ranging from 330 mm to 560 mm, swing over saddle 190 mm to 390 mm, and distance between centres 750/l ,000 mm to 1,000/3,000 mm. Standard equipment and accessories include complete set with motor and related electrical control systems, 4-way toolpost, centres and centre sleeve, one backplate for chuck, threading dial indicator, levelling blocks, touch paints, service tools and toolbox. Optional equipment and accessories are available.
