Capstan Lathe

R V Machine Tools offers SMID capstan lathes - Model SMID22 and SMID25. Capstan lathes have draw type collet with SMID 30 having dead length collet and parting slide. Specifications: swing over bed - 250 mm, 6-station turret - 19.05 mm bore, stroke -100 mm, ideally suitable for drilling, step drilling, reaming, tapping, dieing and turning for high volume production and precision. The spindle speed is in 12 steps, range 110 to 3100 RPM, and spindle motor rating 1:1 kW, 440 V, with interchangeable turning slide and tailstock.
