Bench Lathe

New Dilip Industries offers a portable type bench lathe, Model BL-3, to cater to the acute needs of small dimensioned parts turning. The machine weighs very light, just 105 kg and occupies very low floor space, 42" x 28" x 26"only. The machine thus proves very useful, for any research-work, project-work or as a trainer lathe also. The machine performs all sliding, surfacing and screw cutting operations on tiny jobs at optimum speed with high accuracy and ease of operation. The spindle speed range is 40-750 RPM in 8 steps. The main bed of the machine is a 25 grades CI, duly flame-hardened and ground. The carriage with tool post is designed keeping in view the same ease of operation as in a standard size lathe. The head stock in-houses induction hardened and ground spindle with a bore of 12 mm through which bars can be loaded. The thread cutting range of the machine is from 8 to 120 TPI. This tiny but sturdy machine is manufactured for minimal maintenance to boost productivity of small but intricate parts and is offered with a fabricated cupboard if required.
