Air-Dex Automated Turret For Lathes

The Air-Dex automated turret for its EZPATH I, EZPATH II, and engine lathes is said to provide customers with enhanced productivity by eliminating manual tool changes.The turret is an air-powered, automated turret that requires no electrical interface and may be easily installed on any lathe, regardless of type. This ruggedly constructed turret provides precision indexing with an accuracy of 10 arc see and 0.0001"repeatability. The turret features an internal curvic coupling with heavy-duty gear teeth for rigidity and accuracy during cutting. It runs on standard shop air at 80 psi. Models are available in eight- or 12-station configurations featuring "thru-the-tool"coolant standard. Both come equipped with three boring bar holders, boring bar sleeves, tool wedge set, and all lines and fasteners necessary for installation. ne turret can also be offered as an indexer for milling machines and can be accessorised with a face plate or chuck for simple indexing applications. It is compatible with all Bridge-port milling products from the Series I Standard to the VMC 1000/22.
