Torque Multiplier

Torque Multiplier is a precision gear unit designed for multiplication of input torque to achieve a high torque output, recommended to be used where very high torque (over 100 kg-m) is required, to minimise input effort. It reduces the manpower required as well as operator fatigue. The torque multiplier is available in multiplication factors of 5:1 and 25:1. It covers torque requirements from 100 kg-metre to 925 kg-metre. It is recommended to use at the input end to achieve an exactly calculated output torque. It can be used for either tightening of high tensile bolts or loosening rusty and frozen nut bolts.
