Norbar has launched its new hand operated Torque Multiplier, Model Handtorqueâ„¢ HT-92, based on the proven gearbox of the PTM-92, the best hand operated torque multiplier available. The company has also used this opportunity of the launch of the new Handtorque to display a new branding consisting of a new label and, for the first time, the Anti Wind-up cap finished in Norbar Red. The HT92 will be supplied in a carry case. The HT-92 joins a family of Norbar Handtorque multipliers starting with the HT-52 (1000 Nm) and finishing with the soon to be released HT-119 (7000 Nm). The company also offers Screwdriver, etc.
- Stainless steel body, the material chosen for much more than aesthetic reasons as these tools have tough lives and the use of a corrosion resistant material means that there is no plating that can be damaged or lifted off
- Calibration certificate – increasingly customers are demanding traceability in their production and maintenance, therefore every HT-92 will be supplied with a traceable calibration certificate stating its exact ratio
- The nominal ratio for the HT-92 will be 25:1 and the certificate will demonstrate that this performance guarantee is delivered within a tolerance band of ±4% by stating the exact ratio for every product delivered
- Compact dimensions, high torque output – the HT-92 is smaller in diameter (92 mm versus 108 mm), lighter (5.4 kg versus 7 kg) and has a 1000 Nm higher torque output at 4000 Nm when compared with the closest model from Norbar’s existing range, the HT30
