Shear Wrench - G - Type

Consortech Tools (India) offers a Shear Wrench – G-Type (Range: M12-M30) for tightening tension controlled (TC) bolts in steel structural erection work: Electric Shear Wrench + Tension Controlled (TC) bolts. TC bolt is calibrated bolt. It knows when required tension has been reached. No presetting of torque nor verification of the desired torque by individual measurement is required. Therefore, for rapid steel construction activity, this is most ideal. The outer socket gives the desired tightening torque. The inner socket holds the splined pigtail of the TC bolt creating the counter torque. When these two torques balance, the desired torque is achieved. When tip is gone, tension is correct: one-man installation, noiseless, fast and precise installation with much less operator fatigue, saves in overall bolting costs and no operator or wrench-wear can accidentally over-tension/under- tension the joint.
