Ratcheting Spanners

Griphold Tools offers Ratcheting Spanners. It has been developed for tightening and opening of gear case bolts of the electric loco engines of railways. Salient features: the spanners are with ratchet pawl mechanism; the spanners can be used to open and tighten the bolt with the help of reverse and forward mechanism of the ratchet system by changing the position of the pawl; the spanners are bi-hexagonal for easy gripping of the bolt head and both side open to facilitate working from both sides; the body has been designed to suit the easy operation of the tool at the specified location; components of the tool have been hardened and tempered to ensure wear resistance and long life; all components are made from chrome vanadium steel; all components have been surface-treated to ensure non-rusting and pitting; and the spanners have been tested satisfactorily at a load of 200 kgf.m.
