Flip Gun

Flip Gun is a newly patented pneumatic torque tool that is small, handy, light-weight, fast and torque-accurate. With one hand on the pistol grip and the other on the run-down handle, pre-torque of fasteners for parallel joint closure is accomplished in a zip with up to 1,800 rpm. Once the flange is pre-torqued, a flip of the wrist turns the run-down handle into a reaction arm and high-speed into high precision torque for a quick and vibration free precision-assembly of all joints. It is available in 4 sizes for a torque range between 200 and 5,400ft.lbs and drive/shaft sizes from 3/4" to 1-1/2". Dual-speed torque tools, from a safety point of view, are limited to not more than 100 rpm to avoid injury with swinging reaction arms. This gun is safe at 1,400 to 1,800 rpm for parallel joint closure at high speed with a planetary gear system for predetermined torque.
