The Millhog fin tube removal tool is air-powered, clamps to the tube ID and features a proprietary blade design that separates the fin from a tube and then bevels the tube end, all in one step. Eliminating the need for chipping hammers and grinders, this tool has no reaction torque to the user, is chatter-free and can remove 101 mm of fin from a tube in less than two min. The Milhog fin tube removal tool cuts the bond between the fin and tube OD and can work in any position. The cutter blade is made from high-grade tool steel and can be re-sharpened, while a heavy-duty rack and pinion feed mechanism assures smooth operation for greater fin removal control. No cutting lubricants are required.
