Consortech Tools (India) Ltd offers the TONE range of Fastening Tools manufactured by Maeda Metal Industries Ltd, Japan. Fastening management is an input to improve worker productivity, process quality and safety in working place. The areas of application are metalworking, fastening management, precision machining, model making, etc. The task is achieving the design torque values – within a narrow “torque corridor”, consistently, accurately and quickly – during assembly and erection. To achieve this, in the above order, one has to select a tool capable of – delivering close tolerance, say ±5%; torque presetting; automatic shut-off after reaching the preset torque; working at faster speed; minimise, if not avoidable, field failures of vital process equipments where in the down time costs are very high and logistics are not easily available. TONE fastening tools enable all the above. Not only that, they can offer tools capable of real time “digital read out, data recording and transfer using a sim card”. These tools will find application in heavy industries, pipe flange connections, ship building, power plants, wind power industry, steel construction, chemical plants, nuclear plants, etc. The GSR models are ideally suitable for serial assembly operation where large number of the same size is involved. The STC Models are suitable for jobs when the sizes are to be changed very often. The G Series Models are recommended for steel construction sites involving pre-calibrated tension control bolts (TC bolts). Mechanical and electrical torque multipliers up to 23,500 Nm range are available. Large number of precision measuring tools, rugged sockets for very heavy-duty applications and durable fastening tools are also available.
