Eccentric Compensating Chucks

Sealant Enterprises offers Eccentric Compensating Chucks. Disadvantages: tightening of carrier on the job takes time; carrier can slip due to hard crest, less grip on pre-machined dia or uneven cut; limitation on depth of cut; limitation on depth of cut; and dia of centre drill on the job varies, so for each job, Z-axis setting is necessary. Advantages: use of carrier is totally eliminated; gives full chuck grip without disturbing between centre holding; due to spring loaded centre, job rests on chuck face (hard centre plate) so Z-axis is set automatically; can compensate 5 mm; TIR eccentricity so can be used for forging and casting directly; pre-machining is unnecessary; operates exactly as any lathe chuck and is as easy to operate; and same chuck can be used for dia from 5 to 100 mm.
