Digital torque/angle wrench

Tohnichi America Corporation has developed a digital version of the torque and angle wrench: Model CTA for fast and more accurate settings. Using the CTA wrench, the operator first sets torque and angle values. The applied torque is then digitally displayed. Upon reaching the desired torque, the display automatically changes from torque to angle mode. When the set angle is reached, a buzzer sounds and a lamp lights. These signals indicate tightening completion. Because, a gyro sensor detects the angle, the need for a flexible arm is eliminated. The wrench is designed for small lot production, maintenance and after-service (where angle method is adopted) applications, as well as a back-up tool for angle method nutrunners. Four models are available with torque measurement ranges from 10-360Nm, and overall lengths from 360 to 749 mm.
