Wendt (India) Limited offers Diamond Grinding Wheels. This enables easy, efficient and economical redressing of worn out buttons on tungsten carbide button drill bits at drilling site. It enhances the drill bit operational life and efficiency. The effectiveness of the wheel results in minimizing the regrinding time of worn out button bits. These wheels redress the tungsten carbide buttons and grind the steel portion of the body of button bits for the relief. This pneumatically operated equipment is very compact in operation and usage. Redressing the button bits of sizes dia 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 mm is possible with this equipment. The air at a pressure of 5-6 bars and a flow rate of 70 cfm passes though air inlet and drives the rotor to a speed of 10000 to 12000 RPM. The air after passing through the rotor arrangement exhausts through silencer. The front portion of the rotor has got a collet arrangement to hold diamond profile pins of shank size dia 8mm, to grind the tungsten carbide button and CBN pins for relieving Steel body of the button bits.
