Carbide Through Coolant Drills

Universal Tool offers carbide tipped through coolant drills, manufactured on 8-axis CNC machines with special software designed to achieve special drill point geometry. With the special profile generated helical flutes, these drills have coolant feeding right up to the cutting edge. The advantage of these drills is that they achieve holes of H9 accuracy with the finish of almost reaming, working at very high speed thus increasing productivity several times, eliminating need of further reaming operations. These drills offer self-centering geometry eliminating the need of percentage drilling or spot drilling. These drills are offered in the diameter range of 8 mm up to 60 mm in carbide brazed design and in the range of 3 mm up to 32 mm in solid carbide design. These are also offered in carbide lugged design length to diameter ratio (L/D ratio), to 5 to 7 times or even more machining efficiency, depending upon the application.
