Surface Grinding Machines

The Iron surface grinding machine is a high precision machine, which is assembled in India at Rosa Ucam Grindtech, Bangalore. The machine is available in different sizes starting from 850 x 630 mm to 2050 x 630 mm. The cross and vertical axes are driven and positioned through large diameter precision ball screws and servomotors. The table movement is through hydraulics and has servo valves to control and ensure smooth movement of the table. A knob provided on the controller can be used to control the table reciprocation speed. The table slides on V and flat guides with a rapid of 40 m/min. The sliding surfaces are coated with special antifriction coating ensuring smooth movement and long life. The main spindle is supported on three bearings at the front and two bearings at the rear. The spindle unit is directly coupled to a high power 7.5 kW induction motor. The controller on the machine has a large LED display visible from a distance and the operation of the controller is made user-friendly. The features of the controller are nearest to a CNC controller. With auto dresser entire grinding cycle can be automated. The controller has the facility to control the power of the electro magnetic chuck. The machine is highly productive with programmable cycles and auto dressing in built in the controller. It can run without the operator after the component is set on the machine. It produces high accuracy parts with excellent surface finish. The machine is ergonomically and aesthetically designed, and has a compact footprint for this size.
