Precision Tool Grinding Machine

The EWAG RS 15 machine is suitable for the economic grinding and re-grinding of poly-crystalline diamond and tungsten carbide tools. The machine is also suitable for grinding HSS and other materials. Compared with conventional methods a considerable increase in productivity can be achieved on the RS 15 because tools can be measured directly on the machine without unclamping by use of a projector. With special machine equipment rotary tools with PCD and CBN edges can easily be processed. Refined kinematics allow the grinding of convex radii and tangents with constant or variable relief angles (max 27 degrees) as well as constant profiles. The versatile range of accessories covers practically every requirement and allows grinding operations such as concave and convex radii, spherical shapes, multi-facet grinding on deep hole drill bits, etc.
