Precision Cylindrical Grinding Machine

Sharda Mechanic Works manufactures Precision Cylindrical Grinding Machine, Model CG 260/350, in technical collaboration with CMTI, Bangalore. A very high degree of accuracy of roundness and cylindricity on job is a speciality. These grinders are suitable for tool room and production jobs to carry out cylindrical, face and internal grinding operations. These are classified in three different versions (Universal, Internal and External) having 260 mm or 350 mm maximum swing over table and between centre 500 mm, 800 mm, 1000 mm and 1200 mm. The machine consists of: machine bed made of high graded cast iron, in ribbed box structure design, rigid work head spindle which runs in hydro-dynamic multi-point bearings, wheel head spindle that runs in high precision multi-point hydro-dynamic bearings, in-feed operated by precision ground cam, automatic grinding cycle with rapid approach, tailstock designed for high rigidity, hydraulic power pack equipped with solenoid valve, hydraulic pump and motor, etc.
