FEIN Power Tools India, a wholly-owned subsidiary of German manufacturer C & E FEIN GmbH, offers Modular Belt Grinders of the Grit range, for professional metal and stainless steel machining: Grit GX for tradesmen and smaller operations, and Grit GI for use in the series production metalworking industry. The Grit grinding ranges are modular and are quick to retool and upgrade. This modular system is unique in the industry and offers significant advantages: dealers require less warehousing space and users benefit from high flexibility. Furthermore, the costs of purchase are lower, as customers only invest in modules that they actually need. The powerful modular Grit GX system can be used throughout the entire range of steel and stainless steel machining applications. The grinding machines are suitable for every application from the initial rough grind to surface finishing – coarse cut, circular grinding, grinding out, deburring, chamfering and planing. The Grit GX series consists of two basic machines for professional metalworkers in trade or small scale volume production, the Grit GX 75 and the Grit GX 75 2H. Modules for grinding out radii or circular grinding extend the range of capabilities as required. The basic Grit GI machines come in several models for industrial applications in tool and machine building, for stainless steel working, in large workshops or in shipbuilding. Each model is available in two band widths. Machine bases with professional grade dust extraction are available as an option. The belt grinders can be extended with radial, circular and planing modules.
