Hydraulic Surface Grinders

Pinnacle horizontal spindle hydraulic surface grinders are presently available in two models: GSH-5020 (with table size 500 x 200 mm), and GSH-7525 (with table size 750 x 250 mm). They are designed by the well known ex-CMTI designers, Ace Designers of Bangalore, and manufactured by the owners of Parmar brand lathe manufacturing unit. Models under development are with table sizes of l,000 x 300mm,800x400mm and 1,000 x 400 mm with standard as well as PLC auto cycle feature. The spindle housing is assembled with imported super precision bearings grease packed for long trouble-free service with practically no necessity of servicing. The table drive is hydraulic with three separate controls-table start-stop, table reversing and speed control along with an additional safety manual to hydraulic interlocking device. The automatic electronic crossfeed is variable from 0.5 to 6 mm at each table reversal with a facility of rapid power positioning and an additional safety manual to auto interlocking device. An automatic lubrication system is provided in longitudinal as well as transverse guideways with separate controls to regulate the flow of lubrication oil. A separate power pack is provided for easy servicing and avoid heat and vibration to be transferred to the main castings. A separate hand pump is provided for the lubrication of column guideways, screw/nut for vertical and transverse movements and gearing mechanism. All screws and rack gear are nitrided to have long life. The machines are tested as per IS Test Chart. The flatness accuracy of within 10 microns and surface finish of within 0.4 to 0.8 micron RA are standard features.
