Hydraulic External Cylindrical Grinder

Elitech Machine Tools offers a Hydraulic External Cylindrical Grinder. The base is made of close grained and heavily ribbed casting for high rigidity. The hand scraped V-flat table guide ways with continuous lubrication. Longitudinal hand travel of the table is by rack and pinion gearbox arrangement and automatic travel by hydraulic mechanism. The hydraulic system consists of hydraulic pump, valves, livers, piping, etc., conveniently housed in the base. The wheel head spindle is made of case hardened nickel chrome alloy steel grounded and micro finished and runs in adjustable white metal bush bearings to achieve high accuracy and long life. Drive to the wheel head is transmitted by two 'V' belts. Work head spindle is made of case hardened nickel chrome alloy steel and runs in angular contact bearing. The drive to the work head is built for stationary and live spindle grinding. The work head can be swivelled for angular grindings. The hardened and grounded tail stock spindle is adjustable and spring loaded. The internal grinding head (optional) with its independent drive motor is hinged on the wheel head and can be quickly lowered into grinding position easily. The internal grinding spindle runs in two precision match pair angular contact bearings, the drive to the spindle is transmitted by flat belt. A generous coolant supply is provided with electrical pump fitted on separate tank is of 90 ltr approximately. The machine is supplied with all electricals suitable for 400/440 V AC 50 cycles. The motors are of reputed make. The electrical panel is mounted on one side of the machine, and a push button station is located at easy reach of the operator.
