Grinding Machine

Das Associates have developed spring end grinding machines. The machines are made in two sizes. One is SEG-3 with a wheel diameter of 400 mm, and wire capacity up to 3 mm. The second machine is SEG-12, with a wheel diameter of 660 mm, and wire capacity up to 12 mm. Both machines have independent drives for two grinding wheels and loading plate. The loading plate speed is infinitely variable. Type SEG-3 works on crush grinding cycle, and Type SEG-12 works on crush grinding as well as automatic down feed grinding. The automatic down feed facility is suitable for grinding of stiff or very flexible springs. The productivity increases multifold due to its fully automatic operation. SEG-3 is equipped with one dressing spindle while SEG-12 has two dressing spindles.
