Grinding Program Software ? StuderGRIND

With the StuderGRIND software the grinding program can be generated either online on the machine or offline on an external computer. A grinding technology support program helps the user by choosing the correct grinding parameters. With StuderGRIND the customer is able to determine the most cost-effective way to grind the part and he can define fast and precisely the feasibility and the costs of producing such parts. When setting up the machine (grinding wheel, dressing) StuderGRIND assists the operator with a virtual display. Via pictogramming a large number of standard wheel profiles can be retrieved. One module of StuderGRIND enables and simplifies thread grinding. Another is a specialist for form grinding or for grinding press and die punches. Through simulation of the programs and operations over a PC a costly collision on the machine can be avoided thanks to StuderGRIND. StuderGRIND with the following modules: StuderTechnology for calculations/analyses; StuderProfil for profiling and dressing; StuderDress for optimising profiling time; StuderThread for thread grinding; StuderForm for non-circular grinding; StuderForm HSM for non-circular grinding in high-speed machining; StuderPunch for punch grinding; and StuderContour grinding for contouring.
