Fine Grinding Mill

Turbo classifier mill from Premium Engineers is an equipment for fine grinding. The feed material is fed at the centre. The rotor is dynamically balanced and has beaters with suitable rake angle. The rotor is rotating inside the chamber which is the stator with serration. The gap between the rotor edge and the stator is very small. The combination of this and the high speed of rotation help the equipment produce fine powders. This is mainly because significant quantity of pulverising is by shear. The equipment has a classification system which permits fine powder to be withdrawn from the grinding chamber and retains the coarse particle in the grinding chamber for further grinding. There is a substantial flow of air to keep the grinding chamber reasonably cool. Further water cooling arrangement is also provided around the grinding chamber. A fan is provided at the discharge end which sucks fine particles from the grinding chamber and discharges into the cyclone which is an optional supply. This equipment is available in various sizes and is useful in fine grinding of chemicals and heat sensitive materials.
