Cylindrical Grinder For Small Parts

The AGN4 is designed to produce high precision small parts. The capability to perform plunge, contour and traverse grinding operations make it ideal for difficult small part applications, the builder says. This model has a 7" swing and grinds parts up to 10" long. It occupies 30 square feet of floor space and its standard configuration makes it adaptable for factory automation. It will be demonstrated with a robotic loader and vibratory bowl feeder. It is available with either a straight or 30-degree angular wheelhead. Standard features include a full enclosure, GE Fanuc 18 CNC unit, combination live/dead spindle workhead, power operated tailstock and highly rigid hydrodynamic wheel spindle bearings.
